Item RADEX 2019 table-top exercise(Arctic Council Secretariat, 2021-05) EPPRhe EPPR RADEX 2019 exercise was a half-day tabletop exercise (TTX) conducted on Monday June 3rd, 2019 as part of EPPR-I WG meeting in Bodø, Norway. RADEX 2019 followed up ongoing work in the EPPR ARCSAFE and RADSAR projects (see http://hdl.handle.net/11374/2395). The TTX scenario covered a maritime radiological/nuclear event involving search and rescue (SAR) operations in radiologically hazardous environment at sea. The exercise was planned and organized by Norway through the Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (DSA, lead), the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre North Norway (JRCC-NN), and the Norwegian Coastal Administration (NCA), with contribution also from The United States through the US Department of Energy (US-DOE) on the development of the exercise scenario. Approval, steering and guidance of the TTX was provided by the EPPR WG through its regular meetings.Item Arctic Guardian joint table-top exercise - After Action Report(Arctic Council Secretariat, 2021-05) EPPRThe 2020 ARCTIC GUARDIAN Table-Top Exercise (TTX) was the first-ever joint exercise sponsored by the Arctic Coast Guard Forum (ACGF) and the Arctic Council’s Working Group on Emergency Prevention, Preparedness and Response (EPPR). TTX participation and leadership included representatives from both the ACGF’s Combined Operations Working Group (COWG) and EPPR’s Expert Groups on Marine Environmental Response (MER EG) and Search and Rescue (SAR EG).Item Handbook Exercise "Arctic-2014" Murmansk June 23-24, 2014(Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Atomflot", Nuclear Safety Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBRAE RAN) and Emergency Prevention, Preparedness and Response Working Group of the Arctic Council, 2014-06)The exercise «Arctic-2014» is held in the territory of FSUE «Atomflot» on June 23-24, 2014 in the framework of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the United States of America on cooperation in research on radiation effects to the purpose of minimizing the consequences of radioactive contamination on health and the environment, signed on 1/14/1994. The exercise was approved by the management of the State Corporation «Rosatom».Item Tabletop Exercise at BOR-60 Fast Reactor of SSC RF NIIAR(Emergency Prevention, Preparedness and Response Working Group (EPPR), 2003)A tabletop exercise directed at "Practicing the personnel actions in case of a radiation accident at FSUE "SSC RF NIIAR" was held on December 9, 2003 at the State Scientific Center "Institute of Nuclear Reactors". The goals of the tabletop exercise were: practicing the procedures of notification and transfer of information about the emergency situation, training of the experts teams in assessment of an emergency situation and its possible consequences, practicing of the actions of emergency rescue units and the commision on ES prevention and liquidation. The current report contains materials about preparation and conduction of the tabletop exercise. Brief description of the area of the exercise is given along with brief characteristics of the reactor installations of the facility and exercise participants actions. The hardware and software used in the exercise are also described.Item Tabletop exercise at Bilibino NPP(Emergency Prevention, Preparedness and Response Working Group (EPPR), 2002)Objectives of the table-top exercise are the following: - Testing the procedures of notification and emergency information transfer to the crisis centres and technical support centres of «Rosenergoatom» concern, Minatom, EMERCOM, IAEA and neighboring countries; - Training Bilibino NPP experts in assessment of emergency situation and its possible consequences for population and environment, and also in decision-making on protective measures for personnel and population.
