Abstract

This brochure addresses radiation effects as well as outlines the simplest ways in which humans can protect themselves from radiation. It can be used as a manual for the public to be taught the fundamentals of radiation protection and to be trained in the appropriate actions in the case of on-site radioactive contamination.
