    Abstract
    In 2015, the Arctic Council Ministers approved the "Framework Plan for Cooperation on Prevention of Oil Pollution from Petroleum and Maritime Activities in the Marine Areas of the Arctic" (Framework Plan). The objective of the Framework Plan is to strengthen cooperation, including exchange of information, among the Participants in the field of prevention of marine oil pollution in order to pretect the Arctic marine environment.
