Adaptation Actions for a Changing Arctic (AACA) - Baffin Bay/Davis Strait Region Overview Report
The Baffin Bay/Davis Strait (BBDS) region includes most of the Qikiqtaaluk administrative region in the eastern part of Nunavut, which is a territory in Canada and the western part of Greenland, and autonomous part of the Kingdom of Denmark. between these land areas are Baffin Bay to the north and Davis Strait to the south. Although the entire BBDS region is inside the Arctic climate zone, significant differences are found within the region; in the natural environment and in political, social and socioeconomic aspect.
