2a. SAO Marine Mechanism (SMM), 29 September - 29 October 2020, Virtual

 

At the 2019 Rovaniemi Ministerial meeting, SAOs were tasked to implement a SAO-based mechanism (SMM) to improve coordination of, and strategic guidance on, Arctic marine issues. The SMM is designed to create a frame for discussion on Arctic marine matters with marine experts from the Arctic States, PPs, WGs and Observers. The virtual meetings will be tailored to facilitate policy, expert and knowledge-holder interactions.
