Statement addressed to the governments in the Arctic Region, the Arctic Council and the institutions of the European Union from Arctic Council Member State and European Parliament parliamentarians on the Eighth Conference of Parliamentarians of the Arctic Region, Fairbanks, the United States of America 12-14 August 2008 concerning human health in the Arctic, an Arctic maritime policy for safety at sea, adaptation to climate change, renewable energy resources, and more. Submitted at the Arctic Council's Senior Arctic Officials meeting in Kautokeino, Norway, November 19-20 2008.
