Abstract
These documents were discussed during the Arctic Councils Senor Arctic Officials meeting in Reykjavik, Iceland, April 9-10 2003. The documents consider, among other things, the role of Senior Arctic Officials (SAOs) in engaging external funding institutions in financing projects endorsed by the Arctic Council. They raise questions such as; how to establish working relationship with international financing institutions, what form the relationship should take and how, if necessary, the organization of work within the Arctic Council should be altered to facilitate this.
