dc.description.abstractThe Arctic SDI is a joint collaboration endorsed by the Arctic Council. The collaboration involves the eight National Mapping Agencies of the Arctic countries pursuing development of a spatial data infrastructure to support decision-making and efficient solutions for the Arctic region. In 2021 the Arctic SDI is following up on its presentation at the November 2020 SAO meeting as well as the 2021 Arctic Council Ministerial Declaration article 52: ...welcome progress on implementing guiding principles on management of and access to data and facilitate that data, generated by the Council, is findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable, and widely shared.en_US
