Abstract

The Ecosystem Approach to Management (EA) is a globally accepted principle. The origins of the EA concept at the international level may be traced back to at least as early as 1972 (Bianchi 2008). In the ensuing years, the EA concept has been extensively discussed, elaborated and developed.
