The Arctic Coastal Biodiversity Monitoring Plan approved by the Foreign Ministers of the Arctic Council in May 2019 is an agreement across Arctic States to compile, harmonise and assess results from existing coastal biodiversity and ecosystem monitoring efforts, and to design a long term plan to comprehensively monitor and report change in Arctic coastal ecosystems.
