dc.description.abstractThis assessment of Arctic Council youth engagement provides an insight into the role that Arctic youth has played in the Arctic Council. It provides a crucial first step to understanding how the Council can improve its ability to meaningfully engage Arctic youth, as well as, the role that young people play in shaping the future of the Arctic region. Being the future custodians of the Arctic, the perspectives, insights and active involvement of Arctic youth play an important role in addressing the complex challenges that the region is facing.
