Abstract
This comprehensive assessment of youth engagement in the Arctic Council has been conducted by the Arctic Council Secretariat (ACS) thanks to special funding provided by the United States with an aim to strengthen the Council’s ability to advance youth engagement. Prepared in close collaboration with
the Arctic States, PPs, and subsidiary bodies of the Arctic Council, the assessment examines in detail past practices of youth engagement in the Council, or the lack of, and highlights both successes and shortcomings.
