dc.description.abstractThe scope and complexity of responsibilities of the SDWG has continued to grow during the Norwegian chairmanship of the Arctic Council. This report outlines SDWG achievements during the period 2006-2009, as well as efforts by the SDWG to find ways to improve the focus of its activities and implementation of its mandate. The SDWG wishes to acknowledge the expertise and dedication with which the SDWG Chair, Mr. Stein Rosenberg of Norway, has guided the group during the period 2006-2009.
