Abstract
AMAP's long-term monitoring data shows that international and national pollution control activities have generally been effective at reducing the occurrence and ecosystem impacts of the chemicals they regulate. Yet, the current AMAP assessment confirms that a broad range of new chemiclas of emerging concern are now found in the Arctic, or have the potential to reach the Arctic.
